Scott started his career in 1988 with a Private Banking Firm while studying Accounting at the renowned BPP in London. He stayed in Banking and Finance for several years before moving into the IT Sector with CSC Computer Science and qualifying as an Accountant in 1995. The remainder of the 90s was spent as CFO of a Large Manufacturing Operation for Schneider Electric. Then, in 2000, Scott joined IBM as a CFO whilst leading several non-Finance roles throughout the business, including Sales and Sales Operations, Pricing, Strategic Outsourcing, before ending his time at IBM in Consulting. Moving to CMF Distribution in 2015 Scott decided to bring his wealth of Corporate experience to what was a family business and provide the Strategic Direction, Planning and Execution that the business required. Scott’s focus is supporting Distribution Sales, Business Development and owning the longer term Strategic Direction of the business.
